Q)
Bad Ass,
I am a longtime Charger fan, and am often away from SD due to my job as a Marine Infantryman. All my life I never owned a Charger Jersey until last year. I bought yours. Then while deployed, I found out you were let go. I cried that day. Like when the Chargers released my other favorite, Ronnie Harmon. Despite a dislike for the Cowboys, I will continue to pull for you. Good luck in Texas.

Hey Jon, Semper Fi, thank you for your service. I have so much respect and appreciation for you guys and what you do for our country. Thank you for getting my jersey, but no need to cry, you can still sport the 41 next year and show everyone who your favorite Charger was...I'm not in Texas yet, but if I do go thanks for the continued support. God bless, and good luck on any future deployments! Lo

Hi Lorenzo...I met you at the trailhead of Cowles Mountain where you autographed my Chargers uniform. I just wanted to thank you again for doing this, it made my day. Has any team picked you up yet? For some reason I thought Atlanta was interested. I hope to see you playing somewhere.

Thanks Gary, that is quite a hike! No problem, my pleasure. My agent and I are still talking with teams, so as soon as it happens I will post it here on my site. Atlanta would be great, I would still get to play with my boy Michael "Turner the Burner" who is now a Falcon. See you soon at the mountain. Lo

Aloha! Both my sons and husband just returned from camp - what an AWESOME!!!! experience. Trevor, my 10 year old was the medal winner for tight end and he is still on cloud nine after meeting you. Travis, my 13 year old had the time of his life. My hubby, John - the big samoan dude has the story of meeting you in Vons to tell the rest of his life. John has been coaching youth football for the last 7 years and learned so much to pass on to his kids. You are a class act and we are forever grateful for the time that you took to enrich the lives of my family.

Aloha Rhonda, thank you so much I'm so glad your boys had a good time, I had such an amazing camp too. I have a picture with Trevor that should be posted soon. I'm really glad your husband took away from camp like the players did. I wish I could've had more time to work with each individual player, but there was only so much time even though I was there all day! I want to thank you and your family for helping to make my time at this camp the best one I've had so far, it really was unbelievable. I am grateful to you and all the families who took time from their summers and traveled as far as you did to be a part of my camp. I can't express my gratitude enough to you and to all of the families who support what I do, without you guys I couldn't do it. Thank you so much and tell Trevor, Travis and John I say hello and see you next summer. God Bless, Lo

Q)
Lo,
I can't believe it's been ten years. When you were a Titan, our wrestling team set up and took down the Helmet and tunnel for game intros. You actually wrestled my son in the end zone during pre-game once and later spoke at our school about your career and helped us out some in the wrestling room. Those sixth graders are graduating college now.
We've had several Academic All-Americans, our heavyweight was a captain and All-Ivy league lineman for Dartmouth football, and in 2005 we won the state dual match championship for our classification. I basically want everyone to know that many times elite athletes have trouble coaching because they don't understand why people can't do what they do - but that was never the case with you and our kids benefited greatly from your support and coaching. My only question is how your family is, and in particular - has little Lo started competing in wrestling?
--Marc Taylor, Nashville, TN

hey Marc, it's good to hear from you, thanks for hitting me up. Little Lo is doing great in football...but wrestling I don't know yet, he tried one summer at Fresno State wrestling camp and he didn't have a good experience so I don't want to push too hard on him yet, it's a tough sport and it's easy to make kids quit. That's so great to hear about your boys doing so good, it's amazing how time flies. Stay cool, keep me in your prayers, Lo

Both my sons, Shane and Miller and their cousin Jo are having the best time at your camp! I think it is one of the best sport camps for kids! My youngest son Shane was there last year and couldn't wait to go back, he loves football and thinks you are amazing! Miller said he met you today too! Thanks for being a positive influence in these boys lives! It means the world to them and the workouts are great! See you Thursday! Mom from Sherman Oaks, CA

I'm so glad to hear they had a good time, I had a great time this year also, everything was great! The kids were great, the coaches were great, the staff was great, it was a great camp. I hope you enjoyed the awards today it is amazing how much heart these kids have, too bad it was only for a few days. I hope they can all come back next year and I hope they continue to be involved in sports and have the support to live their dream just like I was able to do. Thank you so much and God Bless, Lo... and today when you're driving home tell them "HARD WORK" and they'll have an answer for you!

Q)
My son and husband are at your camp right now. You have actually had a conversation with my son Damon already. My husband Ronny is on the 11th floor with the 8yr old day campers. Well he sent me a pic of you and Damon from his cell phone, but as a mom I am asking you please tell him to take camera pictures, I sent him with a camera but last year....well he sems to have memory loss and doesn't take pics until the last day. I want to see pics of my baby boy in action. He did tell me he's loving camp!!! Thanks for your hard work with the kids. You are a great role model.

Ha ha I hear you Melisa, don't worry someone will be there tomorrow taking pictures for my website and she'll be more than happy to email you the pictures she takes. I'm so glad to hear they're having fun, it's only the second day and I'm having a great time also. We're really getting some good workouts in too, I don't know how these boys are going to last all week. You should stop by one day to check out the practice... unless Damon doesn't want his momma there...Lo
