Lorenzo, Enjoyed listening to your comments and insights on the radio 1090 am in San Diego today. What are your future plans as far as covering the NFL on television? If the Chargers move forward to the AFC Championship (they will) it would be great to hear your take on the match up...

Hi Patrick,
I have been very active on radio and breaking down some games through Comcast in the Bay Area. I am hoping to move forward in the industry, but have to put in my time like everybody else. Hopefully sometime soon I will be covering a Charger game-keep your eye out for me.

don't have a question but i do want to give Lo the props he deserves... hes a powerful man in many ways & his wisdom of the game & enpowering magic when he performs on that field is phenominal. there will never be another to grace the field as he did & we will never be as honored as we were to see a man of his caliber light the field & stadium up as he did...Lorenzo Neal is the best of the best & will shine in a light like no other ever will... Lorenzo Neal the best there is..

LO, I am a lifelong Charger fan(3rd generation). I love the game and at the same time hate the business of the league. I know you are a hated Raider now, but I still love you. The Chargers made a mistake by not keeping you here until you decided youwere done. I will wear my 41 jersey proudly till it is threadbear. I hope when it is time to retire and wear that ugly jacket from the hall of fame it is as a Charger. Your professionalism and class will be sorely missed, and you bring those things to the enemy. And they are things the Raiders have never had until you signed ;)
Like Hacksaw said, " Show me your lighting bolt!" you are the only raider i will ever root for.

Thanks for the words Christian. Bottom line, fans like you make it a pleasure to play this game--no matter where the location. Take care.

Lorenzo,
Not only do we share a name but now a team. GO RAIDERS! I cant wait to go see you play this year and get a Neal jersy. I work at the Juvenile Hall here in Kings County, maybe someday when in Lemoore you can stop by and tell the kids to never give up and to reach for their goals. That would mean alot from someone like you.Wishing you a great season from Hanford.

Lorenzo, thanks for writing. I do enjoy speaking to at risk youth. Life has been pretty busy lately, however, I will still strive to visit my home town and say something to the kids. In the mean time, remember, many of those kids just want someone to notice them and give them encouragement. It means a lot to them to hear it not only from a pro football player, but from good hearted people such as yourself. Keep up the good work.

Hi Mr. Neal...You are surely missed in S.D.. Not only your talent on the field, but your professionalism and good work in the community. I think this is the first time I will be pulling for a "RAIDER"...yes I'm a lifelong Chargers fan. Best wishes for your continued career in the NFL. Stay strong!

Larry, San Diego will forever hold a special place in my heart, lots of good times with those guys. However, you being a football fan, understand how the business works. We as players go where we are asked or needed. Looking forward to seeing my old teammates, and saying 'hello,' in my own special way. Thank you for your support.

Q)
Lorenzo, I am a huge Raiders fan. With you now leading the way for McFadden, what will be your first tidbits of advice to the young, talented RB?
--Josh Page, Bloomington, IN

A)
My advice to him is, the same I give all my teammates, 'Let's find a way to become better Pro's. Lets work hard together, and have our team become one heartbeat.'
Thanks for writing.
